Ashleigh Said, Fashion Writer

Ashleigh, a Fashion Marketing graduate from The Art Institute of Vancouver, is a Fashion Writer for Bamboo Magazine, and the Designer & Runway Coordinator for Eco Fashion Week. Since joining the sustainable fashion industry in February 2010, Ashleigh has spent a substantial amount of time working with the world`s top eco designers from Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia, developing quality runway shows. Finding designers that are the best fit for an event is her strength. When it comes to working with high fashion, Ashleigh finds inspiration in everything from literary heroines to old Hollywood icons to glamorous grandmas (or, as she calls them, “Glammas”).
