Artist : Natalie Blouin is a Toronto-based makeup and hair artist who has worked alongside top fashion and advertising clients in commercial, print and editorial. Natalie maintains her eco lifestyle by eating an organic, unprocessed, vegetarian diet and by avoiding chemical cleaning and beauty products whenever possible.
Here are Natalie’s tips for achieving the colourful eyeshadow look:
#1. Keep the rest of the face neutral and dewy when using a bold colour on the eye. Use a darker shade of colour near the lash line to break up a solid colour, being careful not to take the colour too high above the crease of the eye.
#2. In general, purple looks great with brown eyes, rust and gold with blue eyes, and berry shadows with green eyes.
