Holiday glamour is here! With every celebration there is another makeup look to try.

Start the season off with a classic liquid eye liner. One of Bamboo’s favourite liquid liners is by Kiss Me. To use, simply scrape the excess product from the brush, and, beginning from the inner eye, make small strokes outward while staying right on the lash line. If your work does not look perfect, do not fret. Those small strokes you just made are the foundation for two or three longer strokes that will join together to create the defined eye you desire.

For a more bold and full line, just continue building upwards from the lash line until you have the desired thickness. If you want to elongate the liner into a retro “cat eye,” we suggest looking straight in the mirror and, with just your finger, tracing the angle you desire (angling upwards is always the best option, rather than straight out or (gulp!) downwards). When you can visualize the angle, take the brush and wing the liner outwards with deliberation. If the line is a little off-kilter, merely dab a cotton bud in your makeup remover and correct as needed.

This look is fantastic with a healthy dose of mascara, a bold lip and a sleek hairstyle.
